ECT Fresh Water Microbiology Sampling Kit

What is it?

A sample-collection kit for routine microbiological monitoring of a yacht's fresh and potable water system. It provides the sterile bottles, neutralizer, labelling and documentation needed to take a correct, contamination-free sample — laboratory analysis is arranged separately.

• 3 sterile microbiological sampling bottles (1 L each) — one per sampling point, for three sampling points
• Sodium thiosulfate neutralizer where appropriate
• Disposable gloves

• QR code for digital sample registration

Where is it used?

How does it work?

1. 1Order the kit and receive it onboard.
2. 2Follow the enclosed instruction card to collect the sample from the correct point.
3. 3Label the sample and complete the sample record sheet.
4. 4Scan the QR code to register the sample digitally with ECT.
5. 5Send or hand the sample to your chosen laboratory for analysis.
